Megatop
We filmed a New Year’s commercial for shoe manufacturer, for the capsule collection of the Megatop group. We gave birth to two versions: the first – soft and fluffy and the second – cheerful and aggressive. It is easy to confuse them at first, but in ten seconds you will understand everything.
The first version is easy to miss, but it attracts an audience of introverts who like peace and little cats. The aggressive version is aimed at extroverts and will stick in memory for a long time, paying tribute to the old Euroset advertising.
Task
To shoot a commercial for shoe manufacturer for a New Year's capsule collection, which will be, on the one hand, creative and fun, and on the other hand, evoke a feeling of something homey. One video is aimed at increasing coverage, and the second is aimed at increasing customer loyalty.

Shoot a commercial for shoe manufacturer for their new capsule collection.
The commercial for shoe manufacturer Megatop was filmed in the studio over two days. Plus, the development and pre-production of the video took 5 days. The customer’s team also participated in the development. It was their ideas that formed the basis of the script, because they knew their product. A video of a shoe collection must include the shoes themselves. The first attempt by the Megatop team to make a longer segment of the video, in which there would be no shoes, was immediately rejected by the management. As a result, some scenes had to be re-shot. Megatop launched a New Year’s capsule shoe collection and decided to launch an advertisement to promote it on social networks. The production team came up with two versions of the video: soft and aggressive, each of which aims at its own audience.
The team of pros led by Alex Bobrov was in charge of the creative and the artist, who was also responsible for lighting the locations with the gaffer team.
⬤ 02. Production and post
It is good to shoot a commercial for shoe manufacturer in a prepared pavilion or studio.
A shoe manufacturer’s commercial needs to be shot quickly and requires careful preparation in advance. The more time you spend on development and pre-production, the cheaper your video per minute will be. In our case, the preparation took about 5 days. The script, art, storyboards were already ready during this time. All that remained was to shoot commercial for shoe manufacturer, and when all the material was ready, it was handed over to the editor. Installation and color correction of commercial for shoe manufacturer lasted about a week.
Simultaneously with the design of the location according to the artist’s design, our video production company began to arrange the lighting. The fill was created with Aputure 600x LED lights through a Fresnel lens, a warm filter and a 12th frost frame to simulate sunlight.
The key light was created by Aputure 300x, and some areas of the room were illuminated with Astera Titan Tube and several Boling P1. The pattern on the wall was created with Godox SL-150 and a gabo nozzle.

In order to shoot a commercial for shoe manufacturer, first of all, you need to provide the room with the right amount of light. The rule there is no extra light works here. Cinematic light allows you to make the picture more juicy and contrast, improve skin color and bring out the colors of fabrics and interior.
In this video, the creatives was carried out according to the given moodboard, so the color correction was minimal. A little grain has been added and some scenes that were filmed at different times of the day have been aligned.

A commercial for shoe manufacturer should always be of the highest possible quality.

The quality should be excellent, and effects can be worsened or added in post. The video for the shoe collection turned out to be colorful because it was filmed in RAW format.
