Broken heart

Shooting the music video was quite an interesting experience for our cameraman Sasha Aleinikov, since such stories and reconstructions of certain images are quite rare. All the actors in the video are siblings. As conceived by the authors, the actors showed their interaction with the environment, how they lived and what they did.

The script showed how brothers and sisters gather from distant lands into a single family, bringing certain powers and traditions. It became interesting for us to show this whole story in natural locations. I even had to find a real horse.

The fantasy folk music video often looks out of date, but don’t worry about that. This is done intentionally, because the directors are trying to give the picture a look, as if the clip was shot on rare cameras. Of course, in those days there could not be any cameras, but who thinks about it. If you want to commission a fantasy folk video, start by developing a script. It is musicians who often act as screenwriters in such projects, because they deeply know that period. Perhaps they even conducted research and reconstruction, but they definitely know more about that time.

There was little time and a small budget for filming, but the video production company managed to prepare well. The author of the idea prepared the storyboard for the entire video, since during the preparation stage she studied at the Minsk film school. Preparations for filming were ready within two weeks.

The cameraman chose an interesting location for filming, which easily immersed the viewer in the old world. In one scene, a small accident occurred with a horse, in which he almost crushed the cameraman and the camera.
