Auschwitz
We wanted to shoot a documentary about the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in the city of Auschwitz from the moment we arrived in Poland. This is a place of pain for many nations, especially the Jewish people, who in the current year of 2024 are again experiencing special tension for their struggle for independence and for their existence in general.
We decided to shoot a video for YouTube behind the scenes and took compact professional equipment with us, but that is why our footage looks careless, which adds some special tension to it. Our goal was to tell our version of events through the prism of our reality, which we, as a Belarusian video production company, can tell. Perhaps someone will learn something new for themselves.
Task
To shoot a documentary about the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, which still carries the memory of the terrible events of the war. Filming a social video is important as a reminder and warning to people, since history can always repeat itself in an unexpected way if a dictator is in power.
