We decided to make the law office commercial interesting and dynamic. In it, we definitely needed to show the main advantages of the company, why the company is valued by their existing clients. Our second goal was to attract clients of absolutely all categories to work with the agency.
In the legal services segment, it is customary to use conservative advertising methods, since this segment has traditionally kept a low profile. But our client decided to take a risk, get out of the marketing twilight and gave us carte blanche. Thanks to this approach and trust in our work, the video appeared.
Task
Creatively show the main advantages of the company and explain its philosophy to the client in simple terms. By doing so, we bring new customers to the company and increase brand trust, as well as due to this, the number of new transactions with current customers increases.
⬤ 01. Challenge
Shoot a simple law office commercial with a clear presentation of information.
A law office commercial can look different. If the client trusts you completely, you can come up with a creative script with a dynamic story and attract the attention of a new audience. Or you can make a classic, no-nonsense video that will increase the loyalty of your existing audience. Or you can shoot a viral law office commercial, which will attract new ones and increase trust among existing clients. The production team, led by our cameraman Sasha Bobrov, filmed commercial for the law office. The filming took place in the company’s office to increase its recognition and brand loyalty, as customers will see the same premises, and professional actors were invited to play the roles.
The actors were tasked with creating the image of “their” company, in which they are aimed at helping any client, no matter what problem he may have. And we managed to create an efficient commercial.
⬤ 02. Production and post
A law office commercial will become dynamic if there is movement of the camera or actors in the frame.
A law office commercial cannot be shot without a budget at all. In any case, you will need funds for filming, because the legal profession will require it. At a minimum, you will need the right light for the location. This will cost at least $300, plus a camera, optics, and people. Budget at least $1,000 for a lawyer ad like this. This is the minimum below which it is impossible to remove it, even if all the people work for food.
Lighting in the project was organized by Anton Zolotukhin’s team according to the terms of reference of Sasha Bobrov. The room was primed with ARRI M40 metal halide lamps with a power of four kilowatts each through frost frames.
They were aimed at the windows, and the key light was provided by an Aputure 600x LED luminaire through an Aputure Light Dome II 90 and several Astera Titan Tube 120s.

The video production company filmed the commercial on a RED Dragon 5K with Cooke Anamorphic 2X 40mm anamorphic optics. The RED camera has vibrant colors and excellent dynamic range. We managed to get a smooth picture without noise throughout the frame.
And this is despite the exactingness of the camera to the amount of light. Thanks to 16-bit colors, the colorist managed to improve the image according to the given moodboard.

⬤ 03. Equipment
A law office commercial should look as natural and businesslike as possible.
A law office commercial can cost 10, 20, 50 thousand dollars. It all depends on the complexity of the script and the target audience you want to reach. If you are willing to spend a large amount on advertising, you can order a commercial for a bar association with an average budget for $15,000. On top of this amount, you will need to spend another 30 thousand a year on online promotion. Success will depend on the scenario. If the story is catchy, the video is shot well, the picture is nice – the video will attract customers.
